ThinkL Studio specializes in architectural lighting design, delivering innovative solutions for commercial, residential, hospitality, and public installations. To achieve the ambitious goal of targeting larger clients and new markets, ThinkL needed new branding and a unique digital presence that reflected its high-end, niche services.
ThinkL Studio contacted Boyle Design to lead the rebranding program and website design.

Redefining a Brand Through the Language of Light
We began with a strategic framework that examined ThinkL Studio’s target audience, its niche services, and its deep passion for lighting as a redefining design element. The goal was to position the firm as a recognized authority in architectural lighting—a sophisticated, high-value partner within a specialized market.
At the heart of the rebrand was a new logo design that captured the essence of light’s ability to consume and transform space. The design used the business name’s core letters to symbolize tailored, customized solutions, illustrating how ThinkL Studio “transforms architectural spaces through the language of light.”
While business names are technically nouns, ‘think’ is most often a verb, which made for a unique and effective name. Because every solution for ThinkL is customized, we wanted to create a visual identity that encouraged intrigue and curiosity, and positioned the company as a thought leader. The mark is the client’s space and project, reimagined through ThinkL.





To bring the rebrand to life, we developed an online presence that introduced and showcased the firm’s new branding, its services, design philosophy, and its unique portfolio or work. This new digital experience elevated ThinkL Studio’s brand presence while exhibiting its innovative work to prospective clients.
